Free Tips to Weight Loss
Weight loss is a multibillion dollar industry with literally thousands of different diets and products available. With this in mind it would be very easy to waste your time and hard earned money in your quest to lose weight.
The simple truth is that you don’t need to spend a single penny in order to lose weight and have that body you have always wanted. There is no secret, no holy grail that will enable you to trick your body into shedding those excess pounds. You simply need to know how the body works.
In order to lose weight you simply need to burn more calories that you consume. So how many calories does your body need? The UK government recommends that the average male consumes no more than 2500 calories each day, and, the average female no than 2000 calories per day.
In order to shed one kilogram of fat you would need to consume 7500 fewer calories than your body burns. This may seem like a lot but when you break this down over the course of one month your task suddenly seems much less daunting. That works out to reducing your daily calorie intake by just 250 calories which is the equivalent to just one bar of chocolate or a single packet of crisps.
The other alternative is to consume the same amount of calories and increase the amount your body consumes by the same amount. To burn those 250 calories you would need to spend around 20 minutes doing moderate exercise.
The key to success is to set yourself realistic targets and to lead a healthy active life. If you lose weight gradually then you are statistically more likely to maintain that weight loss for the long term. Take one day at a time and you are sure to succeed.
